2006 GS300 wheels won't turn......starts,drives . shifts, wheels won't turn, P/s came on and went off. No warning.. just went out

 

It won't steer left or right? Does your steering wheel turn fully left and right? Or that is jammed also?

 

It won't turn either way.. p/s light is back now...starts..runs shifts.. steering wheel tight

 

My power steering ecu went bad and turned on the fail safe relay within itself which locked my steering wheel. The same steering feel as when the car is locked and off. Everything worked as usual except steering, with power steering light on. I would scan for codes and clean/reconnect the ecu connectors. Be careful though, the wires are brittle and I read multiple people broke a wire before and had to replace the harness.
