Since the center differential is full-time planetary, and not on-demand slip dependent, it *might* be OK.** You can use tiresize.com to compare and calculate how much it messes up your instrumentation. Tire rotation is now ineffective so you will have higher maintenance and costs because of that. Doing this will definitely destroy many awd systems; I’m not positive here.
** - There are wet clutches that vary the ratio from 69:31 to 50:50 based on detected slip. The new f/r ratio differences might be activating these continuously and wear them out (expensive problem if so). I am not sure so you will have to find someone very knowledgeable about the i-four system to verify.
