Hello everyone, I usually use my infotainment service section to store my service dates as a reminder (Oil change, Battery, Air filter...etc), but I can't enter a new date for a new maintenance, the system shows " maximum year is 2024" is this mean the firmware is supported up to 2024? This is strange why Lexus decided to limit the system to a specific year! they have a full calendar which is known to support for a full century (up to 2099).

I think there is a limit on the year and unfortunately we have passed it. I tried to get it to work on my '08 GS when I picked it up last November but no luck.

Love to know from other members if there is a solution though. I just like everything working whether I use it or not.

 

I looked into this last year and AFAIK there’s no way to update it. Why 2024 was the cut-off, no idea.

 

Can confirm. Spurred on by this discussion I tried again yesterday and couldn't get the calendar past 2024. Clearly Lexus thought it would be all hover boots and flying cars by now.
