I have an 07 GS350 and the leather-ish material finally gave out. I wanted to get new factory covers, but it's prohibitively expensive, around $1500 per seat(?) and the car, while it runs fantastic, IS getting kind of old. Sooo, I was looking for a nice set of seat covers and thought it would be way easier to go by the opinions of people here rather than try and research a million different brands etc only to likely be disappointed at what I get. I'd like something nice that FIT REALLY WELL, are comfortable, good looking and will last awhile... and I don't mind paying if I get something I'm happy with. Open to all suggestions.
Thanks,
Ron

Your best bet is to find a mom n pop upholstery shop. If you do not know of one, you can go to used car dealers and ask whoever is responsible for repairing their cars what uphostery shop do they use. Because with used car lots its profit is everything, they should know good shops at good prices.
A good upholstry shop can usually knock out the repair in a few hours. Its not a difficult job, nor does it cost much money. My seats all I use are uphostery shops. The matierial costs them almost nothing its just their labour you are paying.
