Hello all,
I have 2008 Lexus GS350 AWD which I recently bought.
Today, I lifted the car at a muffler shop, and they told me that my car is missing the rear catalytic converter.
Will that affect the car's MPG? I mean by that, will putting them back decrease or increase the fuel consumption .
Please advise..

 

I think it might be the resonator has been cut off, you still have mufflers right?

I do have the mufflers with the upper catalytic convertors, it just missing the ones under the car..
My car consume gas like crazy.
I did all the tune up, changed spark plugs, replace MAF sensors and cleaning the throttle body.
Am I missing anything?

 

If the previous owner cut off the secondary cats and just had pipe installed where they were I can't see how that would affect your mileage, might make it a little louder.
What's your estimated mileage ?

 

the estimated mileage in the cluster get max to 15MPG, that the max whether I drive City or highway.
With full tank I get max 210miles
