Engine turns off
Hello, I have a 2008 GS 350 AWD, V6 and lately I have been having some issues while switching gears: if I put it in reverse and then in drive, the car almost turns off, the dashboard display turns off as well and the car makes some sort of screaching noise.
I did notice today that I tried to turn it on and made that noise.
I had multiple people saying it might be the transmission.
Any feedback on this?

Hi, I don't have any codes available, I will have to get a reader and see what and if it shows something; I am a second owner and have zero idea if the alternator is original.
