I am attempting to replace the factory navigation of a 2GS aristo. I bought a JDM multidisplay and have an aftermarket head unit I want to install but I cannot find a wiring diagram so that I can bypass the amp, and find illumination wire, etc, etc.
On my multi-display unit, I also couldnt find any connector to fit in one of the receptors.
I was able to determine the blue connect is for the stereo. Grey was 12VDC switched with ACC, grey-red is 12VDC at all times, and white-black is ground. I still need to find out what the rest are and where they go.
hey man, also in your shoes, i hope your car is an aristo too. i have the factory nav unit and i want it replaced. i have a jdm climate contol coming in a few days and i have a pioneer doubledin with the harness ready to go. only issue im having is i cannot find the stock wiring harness colors(what color wires go to what speaker) preferebly from the head unit and the amp. did you ever happen to find out what colors the speaker wires are from the head unit and the amp?

I used the japanese manuals to find which colours go to which speakers from the OEM amps in the trunk. So thats the first problem you have here...the speakers all run to wires in the trunk, not the head unit. I have a sound processor and amps in the trunk because I am not using the headunit amplifier in my setup.
In your case your better off just running new wires to each speaker.
