Hi,
Does anyone know how many miles are left in your tank when your light comes on. 02 GS 300?
I was driving and didn't want to use the no frills gas stationss but didn't know how far I could drive to get a another gas station.

That always makes me nervous too. Unfortunately the manual doesn't specify how my fuel is left in the tank when it comes on. By my calculations its around 3 gallons, so multiply whatever mileage you get by 3, and that tells you how much farther you have.

 

I agree about 3 gallons. What that tells me is get gas now!

 

I usually plan on about 20mi or less to be safe.

​​​​​It's not good for your fuel pump because it overheats it and it sucks the crap out of your tank into your filter so it's better to avoid getting that low but I do it sometimes. Worst that'll happen is your old fuel pump will die.

if you really care bring a 1+ gallon gas can and find out
