Default Broken Valve stem thread

I just bought some used wheels/tires and one of the tires has broken threads on the valve stem. Not my picture but this is exactly what happened. Any chance on fixing this without buying a new tire?

That looks like a tpms sensor valve stem but I get what your saying. Take it to a tire shop and have them replace the valve stem with either a metal or rubber one.

Well the problem will be getting air into the tire or checking it during routine maintenance. You will need to replace it eventually. Luckily all you need is regular rubber stems. The tire doesn't need completely removed. You brake outside bead and pry it down enough the remove/replace the stem. A shop should charge somewhere around $25-35 to do this.
