I’ve replaced mine twice on my SC300. I found that aftermarket ones can be very cheap, while the factory one is very expensive. Used OEM Harmonic Balancers will save you money but are very risky. I originally bought a used one from my friend’s shop and it failed less than 18 months later. The second time I bought a new OEM one from the Lexus dealership I worked at.

From what I’ve read, the aftermarket ones vary in quality and they don’t last long. The technicians I worked with recommended a new OEM one. Price can vary a bit but it will be pricey.

I replaced mine with a Powerbond. Cheaper than OEM, and known to be really good quality and are made in a way that last longer and don't really fail. The cheapo's on eBay are a dangerous risk. Don't cheap out.
