Default 0300, 0301-0306 All the codes

A very clean 2002 GS300 178k got donated to a charity and I bought it at auction. Had/has running issues. Started with 0171/0174. replaced dirty air filter and MAF. 0300 misfire, plus individual cylinders. Got Iridium plugs, coil packs and plug wires from Auto Zone. All three of the twin wire clips that go to the coil packs ended up broken. Got new clips from Amazon and soldered them/heat shrunk them. Got confused with the wires. each had a black/brown, the 2nd wires were random colors. It seemed the black/brown went onto the clip side. So that is what I did on all three. Upon starting, could barely go around the block. Codes: 1300, 300, etc. and VSC. After clearing them, I presently have 300-306...all of them!! Is it possible that I 100% got the lead wires backwards on the coil plug clips? All I have is the $35 scan tool from AutoZone. Does someone have the wire schematic(color codes) for these plugs? Is there a source for the car's electrical wiring diagram.

Black/dark brown wire is common on all 3 plugs and is on the bottom when it's connected. So, the 2nd wire is on top and closest to the clip that releases the connector.

Actually, the black with brown is on top of the original plugs and, this is how I have it. Is it possible that the AutoZone coil packs are crap? I guess I will reinstall the old ones to see what happens. Any other ideas?

There's actually a black/light brown wire and a black/dark brown wire.

Also, I was told that as long as the common wire (black/dark brown) is in the same position on all 3 connectors it will work fine. On mine, the black/dark brown wires are all on the bottom and I am not having any issues so that's what I am suggesting.

Here's a link to the wire diagram for the igniter plug, as you can see pin9 goes to all the coils while pin1,2,10 each goes respectively to front, middle and rear.
