I think I like the second one more. Could you notice much difference as far as seeing what was behind the grill?

Hmm, I've had a TTE grill lying around for a while. I'm finally having it painted next week. I wonder which grill I have. Does anyone know what the part number is fo rthe L emblem in front? I assume I can not transfer over the one on my stock grill correct?

I don't think there is an emblem for the TTE grille. You'd have to use a "stock" one, whether it is off your GS or a new one. The stock one is attached to the OEM grille via one or two screw (Sorry I have not looked in awhile so I can;t remember how many.).

Really? This is news to me. Sorry if I gave incorrect info. I am curious now. How does it attach? How is it different from the stock L (both versions)? Bigger? Smaller? Different hardware?

Thanks.

Doh, just openned up the box and saw instructions. The new emblem attatches with cips. Part number is 90183-04046. You need 3 of them. I got the bottom mesh in my box.

Is that the part number for the clips? So you have to buy a new emblem and 3 clips?

Anyway, post more closeups when you guys are done. Although I have other mods that are priority now, I will eventually have the TTE on my car.

Sorry to bring this back up but the emblem in the TTE directions is no longer available. The superceded one is not peg style, only sticky so I have to wonder if it will stay in place and how it will effect the grill itself over time. I need a Lexus emblem with the 3 pegs on it. Anyone know a different part number that might work? Thanks all! THe old part # listed was 75314-24020
