Default lug nuts for 17" factory wheels?

HI all,

I'm replacing the 16" factory alloy wheels on my 1998 GS400 with 17" factory alloy wheels, and I'm having trouble confirming the correct style and length of the lug nuts. I've assuming M12x1.5. Is that correct? Also, what is the correct length? I'm guessing my current lug nuts will protrude too much with the large wheel. Any ideas on where to get these non-chrome lug nuts would also be appreciated. Thanks

Use the same lug nuts (standard Toyota nuts), and this isn't a build thread.

You should be able to reuse the same lugnuts but if you are concerned about them sticking out too much you are going to need to post pics. After 20 years we can’t assume you have the original style lugnuts

Fair point, although if they don't have original style lug nuts on the factory 16" wheels, yikes. Toyota wheels require Toyota-specific mag-seat lug nuts.

right! But they also come in 2 different lengths. The long ones might extend a little further out.
