My name is Al and i'm new here. Just picked up a 2003 GS300 and need some suspension work done. Starting with the diff and axles, however I had a question. Beside the oem axles from Lexus, what are the other options that have been used with great outcomes?

What's wrong with your diff and axles?

I also just noticed you said you have a gs300. If memory serves I think that actually comes with a 3.91 diff so the Supra one other than the lsd part would not help (launches at least )

i bought a car car that was sitting for two years. I knew it would have some issues and was prepared to work with it. The diff is leaking, so I bought a diff. The problem is that the bolts where the diff and axles meet are rusted. The mechanic can’t even get it off with light breaking the bolts. I was t really prepared to buy new axles until the following two weeks. I have a shop near me selling used JDM axles for $250 but when I look online I see new axles for less $200 and even $150. I was just curious as to if there’s an aftermarket brand that’s ok to go with or just stay away from them all together.

Eventually I will do a 2jz-gte swap but still wanted to keep the car somewhat stock. So stock axles was what I had in mind.
