Default Should I repair or replace my navigation ecu?

Hi, everyone I need some advice I have a 2003 Lexus GS430 with a ML navigation sys. It stop working about a few months ago and I have been using my phone's navigation. I issue is the navigation won't read my navigation disk. I read all the treads to confirm it is the navigation ecu. I am not sure if I should just fix it or buy a used one on ebay? Repair it might cost a lot and buying one from ebay might be cheaper. What do everyone think I should do? Thanks everyone in adance.

If it can't read the disk, might be the drive? If you can find a replacement at a reasonable cost, might be worth it to swap out the drive.
