I dont know about turning on your car, but you can have it locked if you put your lever into any other gear. You may be able to have them locked by turning on the car.

If you have access (dealer usually) to a Toyota Techstream, you can do MANY things with the car.

I asked for both of that auto lock/unlock and my dealer could only get me the unlock part when i shift in it P.

My friend's car locks whenever you put the Shifter into anything else other than P. And Once he gets back into park, the doors unlock.

i been meaning to have dealer change mine since the day i bought my car...

mine locks when you go into park but wont unlock unless you do so manually...
its annoying

since i avent used my nav in months (nav ecu died and havent updated it yet to the gen 4 unit) im recalling from memory...

i think it was on startup or maybe system options...

tap upper left corner, tap lower left corner, tap upper left corner, tap lower left corner, then tap lower right corner and a box should pull it....touch override (or we it says) but everytime u turn off car u must do it again....i actually got mine from a post on here....let me see if i can find it

c-best is a program the lexus dealers use to modify oem options on our cars....

like how long the lights stay on after u get out, how loud the beeps are, when/how the doors unlock...etc etc

Been there ..tried that. Depending on your year, 98-00's auto locking/unlocking the door can only be set ( using the c-best options that only the dealer can do) to unlock when you stop and put it in park but not to lock when you enter and put her/him into gear to go. Kinda lame but the cars still rule!

I've got a '99 GS300 and the dealer said that they can only program it so that it unlocks when i put it to park... i thought they were just pulling my leg...

imagine how annoying it is for me? mine don't unlock when i go into park unless i lock them....need to go to stealership but don't wanna pay $50 to do it

hey all. been looking at the forums here for a little while. finally registered tonight. i tried to do the summer/winter wiper feature and really messed something up. now my passenger wiper overlaps the driver one which doesn't even move now. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

1. Hold the unlock button down for more than 5 seconds and it opens up all the windows and sunroof. This can also be accomplished by putting the key in the keylock and turning the key to the right and holding it there for about 5 seconds.tooopen all windows and left to close all windows and sunroof.

yeah just wish they had made a feature to roll them up and close the sunroof FROM the remote instead of the door lock
