Can someone confirm whether this audio mod works on my '02 GS430 with Nav, ML? I can get to the Japanese diagnostic screen by pressing down the CLIMATE+AUDIO while toggle the parking light 3,4 times. What are the next steps I need to do to get to the audio menu (if possible)?

Does anyone know if this audio mod. is applicable to my wife's '00 RX300? I think that car has the Pioneer stereo.

Thanks,

I tried the audio mod on my '01 GS430 and it didnt work, i could get no farther than the P190 screen, but now I have a small problem, every once in a while my radio screen spazes out and displays all kinds of weird characters ... anyone know what that could be?

I was trying the wiper thing..to put it in summer mode!

didnt work!!

I have a 2001 GS430..anyone try it?

when i first tried it..I noticed my bolt was loose on the base...tightened it..but it doesnt shift upward...or downward!! :-(

Also since the nut was loose..and my wiper was a little protruding..i chipped the top part of my hood..barely noticeable --BUT very painfullll

Yea i went ahead and did the wiper thing, and it was really easy actually ... When i first tried doing it myself it was hard and i couldnt push it down ... so i got my friend to help me out, i pushed down on the passenger side while she pushed down on the driver side, and it went down effortlessly ... try it out guys

If your wipers on on the winter setting they sit way up high on the window and don't tuck behind the cowl. Just push them down hard and they'll 'pop' past the winter stop into the normal one. Looks much better.

12) If you leave your gascap loose, you will get a check engine light after a bit of driving (this is on all newer Lexus). Put the cap back on tight and it should reset after a while. I disconnect the positive ground on the battery for about 5 minutes to do it right away.

Adding one more to the list. You can hold down the recirculate and vent button for 3 seconds and you will be able to adjust the smog sensor that automatically switches the airflow back and forth between themselves. A/C has to be in the automatic position for recirculate and vent mode for this to work properly.

Default Two more

Adding one more. If your trying to get your freak and you dont want your running lights on just depress the emergency brake when you crank the car. Running lights will not come on until you release the emergancy brake. If your car is off and you need to push a button in the drop box just open the driver door. The buttons light up everytime you open the door even when the car is off.
