Default HELP! Is my GS cursed?

I need help.
Let me start, while changing the lower ball joints on my 1998 GS400 I broke the VSC sensor on the drivers side and it set the VSC and ABS lights on the dash. I had to drive around without traction control or ABS untill the new sensor came in, once the new sensor came in I installed it and disconnected the battery, still the lights on the dash were on. I called the local Lexus dealer and explained what had happened they asked me to swing by and they would be glad to reset the lights. When I went to the dealer they hooked up the scanner to my car and it wouldnt get any information from my car it would say some kind of failier. After trying three different scanners he came to the conclusion there was something wrong with the ecu or wiring in my car. He has able to clear the codes another way and they have not come back on.

Now the strang thing my car is doing not
As soon as I left the dealership it was beginning to rain, when I slowed as normal just before I came to a complete stop there was a spring type noise from the brake pedal area and the pedal went down farther and felt as if the brakes released. It has done that ever since.

If I push the VSC button to turn it off, the (VSC Off) light will not come on

And finally the last few times I have tried to start my car the first time I turn the key it makes a click sound and always starts the second time I turn the key.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Check out the new sensor and make sure the connection is tight. Look inside the connectors and make sure there is no junk inside it that may be causing a short circuit. Make sure the wires are fine too, check for any nicks or cuts on the wires. Also check that all the wires are fully connected to the connectors. Check everything you disconnected.

I made these suggestions because it sounds like your strange problems with the electronics did not show up until after you changed the sensor. I hate to ask this, but did you get the right sensor?

Hope this helps.
