Default Transmission fluid level.

Hi. In what condition should I check a transmission lvl fluid? When car is fully warmed after staying at parking spot or when I drove around 10-15 miles? . Becaus when I check after warmig at the parking spot, fluid lvl is below any mark of the dipstick, But when i check it after driving, lvl fluid is above hot mark.

You're supposed to check it after 10-15 minutes of driving, or really when it hits a certain temperature range. Believe it's like 150-170*F. I usually use my Torque Pro app to monitor transmission fluid temp and check when it's in that range.

Cycle through all gears P-R-N-D-3-2-1, go back to P (Park), and then check fluid level. Add fluid as required while engine is running in park. Always re-cycle through all the gears in between additions to verify how much you just added.

Equation? Can't watch the video while at work, but for me it was a simple task of just adding a digital display that shows transmission temperature. I also added a little graph that plots it over time, but that's really more for my 292k mile 4Runner than it is my Lexus.

Unfortunately this transmission temp display doesn't seem to be working (method 1 and 2) It doesn't display anything. I also tried method from video i posted (method 3 ) It shows some values but I dont believe it 'cuz it sometimes shows -49 C or something like that. My car gs300 98'

This is quite possibly the best answer for the OPs question.
