Default 2JZ-GTE JZS161 cable near map sensor?

Hello,
My engine was making making strange noise during idle ( something like blop blop blop ) I was checking almost anything to understand what causes it,
then I found a cable near map sensor on inlet manifold (attached the photo )
when I remove it, noise disappears
I don't know what does it actually do, but it sounds like breathing ( like an air solenoid )
can somebody please tell me what is that for ? and why can it cause noise.

I attached a photo, thank you.

Are you removing the connector from the VSV and the noise goes away?

Check that VSV and hoses for cracks. If none are visable you have a bad VSV....replace it.

thats the evap purge solenoid. i know its crazy that its not even used. its not hooked up to anything. it just loops back on itself. but i know for a fact that its the evap purge valve because ive hooked the scan tool up before and commanded it on and off and made sure. just weird that its there but serves no function.
