GS430 Oil Sump Dent
Hi all,
I have had a good look on the forums and cant seem to find helpful info.
Long story short my 2001 GS430 has been jacked up by the oil pan and caused a dent.
Does anyone know how much cleanace we have between the oil pickup and the bottom of the sump?
At its deepest there is 15mm dent

That is a big dent. The oil pickup tube has a mesh screen that will bend first and also the way the pickup tube is designed that will bend under force as well but is not really meant to.
If you are worried, remove the oil pressure sender unit and get a oil pressure gauge tester kit (like this one https://www.harborfreight.com/engine...kit-62621.html or AutoZone may have a loaner) that will read actual PSI and take note of that oil pressure in various RPM ranges and when the motor is cold and hot. Compare to specs in the TSRM.
