Default lights question

A friend of mine has a Lexus GS 400 with OEM xenon headlights that got damaged can he put on non xenon headlights as a replacement?

Long answer: yes, anything is possible if you have time and or money to spend on it.

thanks guys for the replies, reason being is that a set of new oem non xenon can be had for 150 new on flea bay, there are no new xenons.

You can add the halogen head lights. With a retro fit. #1 you'll have to mod the stock ballast wiring to adapt to the new 9006 HID bulb. #2 the auto leveling light will be on in the speedometer. #3 Remove the bulb I can't remember if I did. I sold my GS4 last year. Also don't get the OEM massive ebay they suck. Lastly please adjust your headlights correctly you'll be getting flashed constantly.

so it will work as a plug and play, but needs to be adjusted, also how do they adust

Sure there are new HID assemblies, they can be had for about $250 brand new.
