Default Help finding oil leak

I have a 1999 GS 300 with approximately 190,000 miles and I'm trying to track down an oil leak that is becoming quite a nuisance. I already addressed the cam gear issue where I replaced the o-ring and all appears dry there. Now it appears that I have oil and gunk caked on the cross-member directly behind the oil pan. Nothing appears to be dripping from the pan itself or the drain plug. Anybody have any ideas? It's getting to where I don't want to park on my (or anyone else's) driveway due to the drips. Thanks!

Degrease the engine bay so you can better trace the oil leak. It could be coming from the oil pan and or rear main seal. Have you replaced the valve cover gaskets?

Ok, thanks. I will degrease the engine bay first. I have not replaced the valve cover gaskets, perhaps I will try that next before enlisting the professionals for the oil pan or rear main seal.

First thing you do is replace the valve cover gasket , then go from there , I’ve been having a terrible leak also , I replaced my valve cover gasket 3 days ago and now I’m all good .. no more leak. These cars are known for leaking from that area

There is an inspection whole for the flex plate where the trans and engine mount together. There should be a big rubber plug that you can remove and see if your rear main seal is leaking.
