Whats up people, I know I really haven't been active on the forums for the past 6 years but I just want to fill you in on some experiences I've been having with a company that is popular for these swaps. Collins Adapter is the name, and if you were thinking about it then you were correct! I've dealt with them for a while now and purchased from them before but this last transaction i had with them will definitely be my last and 100% wont be recommending them to anyone I know. I placed an order in the early first week of December with a 2 day shipping and on the 3rd day I only received 1/3 of my order and on the boxes that came in was a sticker saying 1 other box will be there in 3-5 days and the last box would be in 7-10 days. Well here comes the waiting process where which I called them and told them specifically that I need my car up and running by the 30th so I can drive out of state to visit my family for New Years. After 3 weeks of waiting and calling every week to see where my last box was they told me that "Oh, our fabricator was out sick and couldn't get anything made". Well?? I thought to myself why couldn't I be told this earlier?? I was stuck scratching my head because I've done multiple business with them. Well to make things worse I received my last box on the 30th of December (the day I needed to be driving out of state). I just want to get it out there to you guys that If you ever plan on buying from them, then expect to wait a month or more to receive your product. My next option is going to be SerielNine and go with them and see how they go. On top of all of that now it doesn't work correctly and when I message them to sort these things out they start to accuse me of tampering with their products. My JZS161 has been a manual for 2 years and never had any issues but now switching to Collins products has made my car literally the most unstable car to drive. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
