Default AC Control Panel - certain buttons don't work

Have any of y'all successfully been able to get AC control panel buttons that weren't working to operate again? The main temp down button doesn't work nor does the fan speed button. I cleaned up the contacts on the PCB and the rubber piece that sits atop the PCB and it worked for a little while, but stopped working again. Should I just get another control panel? Any other ideas/tricks to get the contacts to work again?

I have the same issue, I will look into it, I think you can replace the bulbs from the rear of the unit. I think the bulbs are: T3,T4 or T5 and can be bought on eBay in different colors. I will be tackling this shortly.

I'm going to try putting some AC ducting tape on the back of the rubber membrane that pushes on the contacts to see if that works.
