Default JDM clear side marker

Hi, guys.
I am planning to change stock side marker to JDM one.

I heard that a little modification is needed in order to install it.
Can someone explain what exactly needs to be done and the difficulty of it (and perhaps the picture if anyone has one)?

I am totally a newb on DIY stuff, so if the process is too hard, i might just get different clear side marker.

Thank you guys~~

if you're talking about the long orange stuff on the bumper, those are bumper markers. Japanese Aristos don't have those. So there are no JDM bumper markers, only USDM aftermarket ones.

If you're talking about the side markers on fenders that blinks when you signal, then those are not on USDM GSs.

I would assume that people are talking about the clear JDM side markers, and those needs mods for US GSs because US GSs don't have them in the first place. You need to drill holes and run wires for them to work.

that you will need to drill holes on the fenders, and run wires so they'll blink when you use the signal lights.
