Default n00b with a GS

hey everyone, i got my GS 6 months ago and it was pretty close to winter time in michigan so i didn't think about mods.

Now its summer time and i'm looking to do a few things...what do you all suggest?
I've been looking through the gallery and the RMM grill and rear spoiler looks like a good start.

hey congrats man

well, cosmetic or performance? personally i'd do performance first before anything. coilover and sways, that will change the way the car drives totally

Welcome to the club!!! If your looking to do cosmetics first, a grill and spoiler is a good start. However, RMM might not be the best choice anymore. Several Cl members have had some problems in the past with the quality and fitment of their stuff. You might want to check out the grills from L-Tuned/L-Sportline/TRD. Those seem to fit better. Good luck and happy modding!

yea..thats what i've read and seen but for some reason mine didn't come with a spoiler.

i got it during late fall and they gave me the whole story on how SportsDesign editions were hard to find and then 2 weeks after i went back they had another one with Marklevinson and bigger rims.

and they were also saying that alot of the lexus cars were stuck at the port cause of the strike that was happening then, at the end i think i got a fair price.

also i think i'm going for cosmetic stuff first....i already ordered my RMM grill...lets hope i don't have problems with it.

i have clear corner lights done and painted my calipers silver.
next on the list will be tinting the windows.

Would any one know where to find eyelids for a GS?

Let usknow how the fit is with the RMM grill, as for eyelids I havent found any i like....and on top of that I wouldn't recommend it to a almost stock car. But it's your car, and notmy decision, i'm just trying to lead you in the right direction. Why not get a roof spoiler instead? UGO is VERY hard to find, but I'm sure you can getan L-Sportline one with no problem.

hmm...a roof spoiler...thats a great idea. I've seen them around but never though about getting one instead of the trunk spoiler. Thanks.

with a quick search i found it at i-m-racing.com for 429. +200 with carbon fiber.

What are your opintions on carbonfiber ones on millenium silver ?
