How low is the vehicle? Sounds like the FUCA hitting the strut mount tower.

Slider pins in the brake calipers will seize & not move causing stress on the caliper bracket bolts to the point where they started to back out a little. & every little turn or going over speed bumps would cause my calipers to move in result u get the clunking sound like something is loose. That's was my problem & I replaced my slider pins in my bracket & my clunk went away. I've already replaced everything else

Where about is the banging sound coming from? Right under the footwell (caster arm bushing)? Or much more front (brake hardware/ UCA ball joint / sway bar)? suggest putting your suspension on partial load and check for play.

ALRIGHT EVERYONE, a little horror story here. SO, I replaced my LBJ's today, they were worn but they were Japan 555's. Anyways, on the drivers side, whoever did the brakes before I bought the car had forgotten to bolt the caliper on the brakes (the two bolts that hold the caliper to the pad bracket thing) and thats what was making the banging noise. Unreal. Didn't even think to check that, thank the gods I decided to change the ball joints and get under the car.

Checked all 4 corners and everything seems in order, pads and rotors on the way to do the job myself.
