good stretch for 8.5j rim??
hey guys, im looking for some suggestions on what size to run my 8.5 inch wide front Volks. Currently i am running a 235 on there but it rubs too much. I am looking to go down to a 225/35/19, 215/35/19 or maybe even a 215/40/19? Currently running 19x8.5 +8 up front.
Anybody running a similar setup at the moment or have any suggestions on some relatively inexpensive tires that stretch well?

have you thummed through sites like tyrestretch.com or rimtuck.com yet? If not I'd start there. 8.5 are pretty narrow, you're going to run into load index issues. Some suggest over inflating to make up for the load but do your own research and decide for yourself. Not trying to rain in your parade, just sharing my own first hand experience. 452 ran the smallest out of all those with delinte next (both bubbled on me) then Nanakangs ns2 size wise, never had an issue with Achilles ATR the largest of all but my favorite besides not giving me clearance I needed this last time around but a Nanakang NS2 in the same size did. So My choice would be Achilles ATR if they don't rub (seemed taller*ish) then the Nankang NS2.
Wouldn't touch the others again.
