Really guys, there's more gore in Newsweek/Time magazine... Anyway I edited it so you dont get sick or something

I was doing about 60 around a slow bend and this bird that looked like a Grackle (sp?) was spinning around just off the ground chasing an insect or something right in the center of my lane. I swerved to avoid it but it flew right in the direction I swerved.

Unfortunately I got a small ding in the airdam from the hit. I just stopped by a self-serve car wash and sprayed it off. I'm glad it didn't hit on one of the thin fins of the airdam, it might have broke! If you were from South Texas you wouldnt miss these birds, they flock around here in the hundreds of thousands (not exagerating) and crap over everything, it's so bad we have people firing shotguns (with blanks) and buildings have speakers on top of their roofs that play hawk sounds to try to scare them away.

You guys have never killed any birds with your car ? I've killed 2 that bounced off of my windshield, but haven't killed any since i've had the Greddy exhaust. I came to the rationalization that the GS was so quiet that the birds couldn't hear me coming.

Too loud!

You know, I wasn't even sure i hit it becuase I saw nothing in my rear view mirror. Although I got the feeling that it was stuck because I passed some people waiting to turn on the road and they were pointing at my car (either that or they are Lexus lovers!).

Well I came to a stoplight, once it turned green, I looked back and there it was.
