i think they showed have lexus only car shows or european only car shows so we can get the true and respected winner their trophy. you know you should have won!

Blue, at least you have a positive attitude on the whole thing. Sure a Mercedes wins, but we all know who the real winner is. Its too bad they don't rate these shows on quality and not quantity. Putting thousands of dollars into a ride will get you in the winner's circle eventually, but imagination and creativity doesn't always have a dollar figure behind them.

well it's always like that man. over the past couple of months i have been thinking about going to shows to show off my car, but i have given that ideas. i talked to a lot of REAL champs and REAL car mod guys and they are all leaving the game, coz' it's been changed. unfair judging and they are looking for craziness (read: stupidly crazy would work) rather than details and refinement and taste.

so i wouldn't waste my time anymore

and couple of comments. damn, are tehre always so many stupid ricers around? that Z is probably one of teh worst i have seen, what a shame of the owner and pity for the car.

 

I was in shock when I saw that Z.....absolutely ugly.

well its like rominl said, shows have gotten out of control, its seems like they want crazy graphics and crazy kits with wild interiors with 12 tv's or something, but hey all u can hope 4 is that they would have a division 4 classy cars done right, but i think thats a long shot.. and i refuse to rice out my car 4 some trophy. i rather come in last than drive home in a shark looking riced out lex with a trophy in the back. but its fun at these shows so i'll keep entering 4 the joy of it and if i win something its icing on the cake..

Blue I feel you bro. I agree with everyone, you most definately should have taken 1st place. I am in a situation where I am trying to make a decision whether or not I should enter the show circuit, not just looks but also SPL Sound Quality arena. I entered my Porsche Turbo into a show 2 weeks ago and they put me into what is called Super Luxury class and I was very happy with my competition and was also happy that I took home 1st place.

I don't feel that Luxury class should be anything with has custom paint graphics. That Audi should have not been in your class
