Default A lot of problems. A lot of money spent. No use.

Hi All

I have this Lexus GS 300 2000 model. This is American specs and I am using it in UAE. Some months ago, it started going in limp mode without any warning light being displayed on the dash board. My upon the advice of my mechanic, I changes the throttle body. for 3 day it worked fine but then it was back to limp. Last month, I made a check up and it revealed multiple problems including misfires and oxygen sensor problems. As a remedy, I changed both the manifolds and all 6 oxygen sensors. All the plugs were also changed but all is in vein.

Yesterday I again made a computer check and almost same problem is still there. Mechanics here have been trying hit and trial method and no one knows for sure where the problem is. Both the snapshots are attached here. Kindly help me out with this problem.

Thanks

P.S. This is my first Lexus.

Generally whenever I've run into an issue where a car has many faults for no apparent reason it has always come down to a grounding issue, check your grounding wires on the body as well as from the battery to the body, it could be something as simple as that.

Thanks for replying. When I got to mechanic, he opened the electric hub on the right side of hood and the capacitors there were burnt.

Ah that's terrible man, hope you're able to find a replacement part to sort your issue out.
