Is it possible to disable the factory alarm?
I bought my wife a brand new 2017 RX350 so the 2GS got kicked out of the garage 
This is where my problems start.. I was originally parking my 2GS in the garage because I noticed on cold nights the alarm would trigger driving my neighborhood nuts! Its safe to say I am the most hated person on my block at the moment. Today morning the alarm goes off again but lucky for me I was already up early getting ready for work.. after resetting my alarm I notice the drivers side rear door was unlocked. I found that odd because the two rear door lock actuators have been broken since I bought the car and I always make sure they remain locked. Is it possible the cold weather is triggering the door switch or actuator to unlock thus causing the alarm to go off? I've read on our forums that it could be a door sensor, how do I get that part diagnosed? Anyone ever have this issue and get it resolved? Should my reputable local INDY shop be able to resolve this?

Congratulations on the RX!
My alarm doesn't activate when I lock the car by hand, so without the remote buttons. Somehow this doesn't work on all GS', I think it's a region thing because someone said it didn't work on his car (he wasn't in Europe). Did you go to the Lexus dealership?
