The ABS on my 1998 Lexus GS 400 always activates just before the vehicle stops, even when driving slow. I've replaced the YAW sensor, master brake cylinder but it still happens. Another mechanic thinks it might be the wheel speed sensor but said its hard to detect as it will not generate an error code. I've spent quite a bit of money trying to resolve this. Any suggestions?

It probably is a wheel speed sensor. In my case it was a rear one which the dealership diagnosed and that fixed the problem.
