Default 1998 trany swap with steering wheel problems

i recently had my trany go out in my 1998 lexus e300 and when i got it back the tires were straight but the steering wheel was not. Also the speedomoter isnt working either when it had worked before i took it in. Are these problems normal or common and whos responsible for having it fixed me or the mechanic who swapped the trannys? The lexus has over 400,000 miles on too just so you know..

I would recommend using the ES300 forum.

If your steering wheel is not straight when your tires are, then your mechanic botched the alignment. Your mechanic is responsible for fixing your car properly, make them do it.
