I recently purchased a 2014 Lexus ES 350. The vehicle appeared to be in good shape and well serviced from the previous owner. Shortly afterward, the driver's door lock began to malfunction. The fob would not lock nor unlock the door. Within a couple days the passenger front and rear door locks would not work. After taking the vehicle to the dealership for a diagnostic check on the problem, it was determined that the lock actuators had failed. How is this possible on a high-end vehicle that's only three years old?
