Door Lock Actuator
I have a 2003 GS300 that I have replaced the motor of the door lock actuator on the right rear door twice. The most recent was 2 days ago. It worked fine after I had finished, and then 2 days later it is stuck in the locked position....just like before I replaced the motor. The motor I purchased was from Amazon part number FC-280PC-22125. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be? The first replacement motor lasted approx 18 months. The second replacement motor only lasted 2 days.

All I can tell you is to check the following:
1. Take it apart and make sure there is enough space in between the coupler and the edge of the motor.
2. Make sure the two metal contacts are parallel with each other and will be able to make contact with the metal on the opposite side of the case when it's closed back up.
If nothing works, then you probably got some bad motors. Who did you buy it from? I believe the seller Zinky, who is also on this forum sells the correct motors. My passenger rear kept cycling and I found it out it was the metal contacts. They were bent way out of position. After fixing that, the door locks fine. It make a loud noise like its hitting something really hard, but I can't figure out what it is.
Edit: so my rear passenger just went out. It was a brand new motor. UT now it doesn't do anything anymore. It's stuck on lock. Ive tried unlocking and locking but nothing. Can't open the door. HELP!!!!!
