Hi guys,

I went to get my painted spoiler today and was going to use the provided 2-sided tape. The bodyshop suggested using urethane as an additional adhesive. Is this overkill? Are there pros and cons in doing this? Probably one of the pros is that the spoiler won't be going anywhere. Any other issues?

Thanks.

I would imagine one of the cons would be the removal of it if you ever wanted to get it off.

Yeah, the thought crossed my mind too. I've been trying to figure out when I'd want to take it off. I know many on here have had it on with just the tape. I was going to do the tape thing too. It's just that if by some bad luck it came off and it was unretrievable/unfixable, it would be very hard to replace.
