Default Oil weeping

looks like I have a little oil weep again. Last time I had the top end all sorted with new solenoid and gaskets. But this time I suspect my VVT-I cam is leaking now. It's pretty slow right now and I figure I would resolve this when I do my timing belt which is up soon (approx. 10k km). I'll check my oil levels tomorrow in the morning as well as the cardboard sitting under the car.

Be sure and check out your dipstick oil-ring gasket as well. The last time I was at the dealer that's where they pinpointed a leak on my '99 GS400. It's common on the 2GS.

Turns out the oil wasn't weeping, it was gushing out in 3 locations. I had supplied the water pump, belt, idlers and a few other bits. Told the dealership to do whatever else was needed since they were in there. For anyone that has ever has to replace your timing pulley (Part #13050-46010), mine happened to be one that was leaking out of (1 of the 3) bolts and not the seal. Anyways, its running much better now and I bet it won't be as rich for a fuel mixture either.

figure I'd post this for additional reference if anyone does this down the road.
