Default GS300 W58 Manual swap questions

Hey clublexus, I have some questions regarding a 5spd manual swap into a 99 gs300 using a w58 trans from a sc300. I searched through the forums and couldn't find anybody who has done this swap with this transmission. Does anybody know how much the shifter would have to be extended, what trans crossmember I would have to use, or mock up a custom one. I want to have everything ready for when I pull the auto out, as this is my daily driver. I know I will have to jump the neutral safety switch. I will be using a mk3 supra clutch and brake pedal, along with a mk3 master cylinder. Has anybody who has done a manual swap run into issues with fitment of the clutch pedal with the fusebox and ecu by the parking brake? Any info would be appreciated and if you know of a thread with info, please point me to it. Thank you

The clutch pedal set up, crossmember, and driveshaft will have to be completely custom. Everyone runs into their own problems with doing it that way because there arent any bolt on solutions. I think the abs computer is something that needs to be relocated because its under the driver kick panel.

Does anybody know how many inches I would need to extend the shifter using an sc300 w58 transmission? I would like the shifter to fit in the big square where the gated shifter and cupholders are right now.

Im working with CBF Performance to develop a shifter extension for the gs right now. I need to send him a shifter for measurements first and then they will begin production

So if I used a 95 sc300 w58 it will line up in that square where the gated shifter and cup holders are?

No It wont. Im currently in talks with CBF Performance to develop a W58 shifter that is placed in the factory position.

What are you doing about the driveshaft? Thats where I am stuck. I know I could go custom but I was looking for more factory alternatives

Im going to be going with a custom 1 piece driveshaft. I think that is going to be the easiest way. Which car are you using a w58 transmission from? I contacted CBF performance about an eta of the w58 shifter and haven't gotten a response.

The transmission is from a MK3 Supra. They wont start development until I ship them the shifter for measurements to be taken.
