Default L-Tuned Skirts, Grill

The L-Tuned skirts and grill are offered in three colors: white, silver & black. Do these colors match the factory colors (crystal white, millenium silver mettalic & black onyx)?

If I purchase through Carson Toyota, can they do a warranted installation?

Not sure if the colors match, but I would assume so - why else offer them?

Who is 'they' you refer to in your second question? Any Lexus dealer can do the install for you. Just be sure they know what 'LTuned' actually is.

RE: Colors: I guess that's why I proposed the question. Are the "black" skirts going to match the factory "black" paint, or am I gonna have to get the parts painted regardless.

RE: "They": I am referring to Carson Toyota, the reasoning being that Lexus = Toyota, so wouldn't they be able to do a factory warranted installation.

The pre-painted L-tuned black skirts matched my 1998 Black Onyx GS when I put them on in 2001.

Silver is going to be more difficult because there are two types of silver depending on the year (Alpine and Millineum, I believe). I'm not sure which one the L-tuned silver matches.

White is probably going to be off most depending on the age of the paint, where the car was stored, etc. IMO, white paint tends to yellow or age more than other colors.

On your Carson question - call them and ask. I'd assume they stand behind their work, but putting on these body parts isn't difficult to do. I'd personally be more concerned on suspension or engine work.

Dave's got it--the L-Tuned parts match the current corresponding color offerings (e.g. silver matches the millenium silver). They will NOT be covered by Lexus factory warranty if Carson Toyota puts them on--you have to have them installed by an actual Lexus dealer for that.

Hope that helps!
