Hi

Currently have a 1992 LS400, looking into buying a 2000 GS300,

Would appreciate any tips about any particular issues I should be looking for and wonder if there is a flat-rate book accessible online somewhere?

Or could someone tell me time allowed for a timing belt replacement and approximate cost of parts to do the belt along with water pump, idlers, whatever else is recommended?

Just got to drive the car today, I like it but would like to give it another good once over before pulling the trigger.

Kesey,

First, Welcome to the forum.
Second, (Particular issue) Ball Joint, Lower Control Arm Bushings, Actuators, Throttle Body, TPS, MAF, Idle or Air Hoses Leak on the intake area, Cover Valve Leak, 02 Sensors and a few more. LOL Check this item on eBay and you see your self how much is it for a OEM part and not labor time. LOL
Third, Is better to check a few more car with service if the owner of the car have it. That way you know that are you buy.

Good luck with your search.
