Double din JDM kit?

Guys, just want to let you know, your factory bracket will NOT work with the JDM Double Din Faceplate. The faceplate are attached to the bracket using compression clip exactly like your ashtray assembly. The factory bracket do not have those "ear" for the faceplate clip to click into. Too bad the price is skyrocketing like that. I bought the whole kit exactly for the same price as the one on carson early this year.
And yes, the fitment is not going to be flushed, the reason is because the back of the head unit might hit the evaporator assembly behind it. Some people modify it to make it flush, provided you have low depth head unit.

Yep brackets needed. Either return yours and buy from Carson the whole kit or buy brackets.

I get that. Trust me when I say, I searched probably every single thread possible along with Google before posting. I even tried to make the subject a little more grabbing than the typical thread most imagine this was. I'd just like to know where exactly I can order just the brackets themselves and preferably somewhere that has them stateside. Any ideas?

I just received the JDM kit for the Aristo from Carson and it is a spot on match with the rest of the trim panels. Came with faceplate and brackets. Definitely worth the extra money compared to the universal kits for a double DIN.

Mine was$74.95 shipped... Should arrive Monday per the tracking they sent me...
charged me $15 for shipping when I'm no more than 10 miles away. I'll post picks of my kit when it arrives..
