Ok guys
I am new to this forum so be gentle with me. I have had my GS400 '98 for a long time. Well, since it was new. I am ready to make some mods. What should I do first? Please guys nothing to major.
Thanks

BCLIV,

Welcome to ClubLexus! Where in NC are you located? You could get together at one of our meets in Charlotte (or other areas in NC) and check a number of modified GS's to see what you might want to do next. CLICK HERE for a link to an upcoming meet in NC!

CLICK HERE for a great thread from a number of members with descriptions and ratings of their modfications... You'll need to narrow down what you want to improve a bit... performance, handling, looks, sound, stereo, etc.

Thanks for the welcome.

I live in the big city of Sherrills Ford. It is on Lake Norman. I will try to make it to one of your meets.

I guess I am looking for the most bang for the buck. I would like more low end power and maybe an up grade of the computer system. Right now I don't know what I want just checking the options I guess.

Thanks again
BCLIV

Cool, just watch the meets section of the forum. I have a boat at Westport Marina almost directly across the lake from you.

Another CL member with a modified GS lives up near Davidson, he might PM you or post here.

Bang for the buck and low end power say TORQUE CONVERTER to me. Try doing a search in this forum and you'll find plenty of info about them. There are at least two makers - Precision Industries (I have one of those) and Level 10 (sold by RMM).

Suspension upgrades.. I.E. Some TRD sways (man do you feel the difference) and also change out your factory struts and springs for aftermaket... But can't can't ever go wrong with a Torque Converter..
