Default 95 GS300 with 98 GS300 front fascia?

Hey. Who's the guy who had the newer style GS front put onto an older style GS? I may be trading my Vette for a '95 GS and the ONLY thing I don't love about that car is the front... Would this be a difficult change? If I could update that front, I'd love EVERYTHING about the car...

Thanks in advance...

Default Mercedes E class conversion.

The only front end conversion that I have seen for the older GS 300 is a Mercedes Benz E-class conversion. I have seen at least 2 GS's from that older `95 or so body style with mercedes E-class front ends + grills. I haven't seen any older GS's with the latest GS's front end conversions. Even if you don't find one, look for a custom shop. There's likely to be dozens of shops across the country that can mold a new GS front end to an older GS body.

keep us updated.

Thank you very much. I'm also curious about that E-Class conversion. That sounds interesting.. Any links to that? Although I think I'd rather keep the Lexus front end...

With the amount of time and money you put in on a conversion, you might as well sell the vette and save up for a 98 the cost should not be that different. I just seems like a headache to convert the front end.

Strangely enough, I actually like the 1st gen rear-end better.. Is that wierd? Otherwise, if it was to be really expensive, I probably wouldn't do it.. But, it's a thought. I'd just like to know all my options...
