Your car looks GRREEEEAAAAAT. Another awesome fat 19 HRE setup (good choice ). I don't think the L-tuned quite drops it enough though.

bitkahuna: I agree that the l-tuned doesn't drop it enough but then again if I dropped it any more I would have had to roll the fender. So there is a little trade off there.

Now I am undecided to do the fat tire upgrade because I have noticed on your (CIPHER) car that even though you have the L-tuned suspension mods (I have done the exact same mod), the fender gap on your car seems to be bigger than mine now (I still have the OEM 17's). I am not prepared to go coilovers so that means I would end with a gap like that too.................

On the other hand if you look at bitkahuna's car, he went with taller tires 245/40-19 and 275/35-19 and the fender gap is not as much as yours - so I might end up doing that instead.

Actually the blue gs is CIPHER's not mine.

Your cars are awesome!!! I love those SSR GT3's - it appears you don't have a fat staggered tire/rim setup on your GS. Is that correct? If that is the case, what was the reason you did not do a staggered setup? Just curious........

Hameed,

Jcramair has a staggered rim setup....staggered refers to the different rims widths from front to rear instead of having the same rim widths front and rear as your stock 17s are. His rim widths are Front: 8.5in and Rear: 10inch. This setup requires the tires sizes to be at least F: 245/35/19 and R: 275/30/19. The so called "fat tire" setup is what bit has. These tires are a little taller than the ones mentioned previously and therefore fill the wheel wells better...Front: 245/40/19 and Rear: 275/35/19. Cipher has the normal tire sizes, f:245/35/19 and 275/30/19, so he doesn't have the "fat tire" setup.

Cipher...excellent chocie...

Hameed..L-tuned drop is failry mild..all depends on what you are looking for..with the "fat" tyre set up, the gap would appear smaller

GS4Will - I finger gap is what I am looking for. I think I will end with the "fat tire" setup as I would rather not spend more money on suspension/shocks after I have already upgraded them - that's a waste of money that I would rather put towards something else
