Consensus is "who knows?". Most here think it's not a Photoshop job. Most here think the front cap is hideous. Use Search feature for more threads/posts, please. This thing has been beaten to death. Rumors abound.

My question to you (Nics95Gle) is this: knowing that the 2004 GS might look like the image you posted, why would not buy a 2003 model right now!

I agree with buying right now....

In my opinion, I think its better the buy the car at or near the end of the generation. In the first year or two they can be bugs and every year after that more options become standard. You can get reviews from other people too.
Im not saying there will be bugs cuz its Lexus but NOTHING is perfect!

But again it is fun to have the newest and latest and hopefully the greatest car out there.

If you can wait till we know exactly what Lexus will offer for the 3rd gen GS.

I won't buy any first year re-design until all the minor bugs are discovered and fixed. Or wait until several months after it is available

I owned a '98 second gen GS and did not have any problems with it. I also owned a 2nd gen sc a 2002 SC430 without any problems. I now own a 1st gen 2003 GX470, again without any problems so far. I guess my point is that I believe Lexus does a good job with R&D and from my experiences, I would not have a problem buying a 3rd gen GS. I CANT WAIT!
