Hello 2gs friends, I am looking to pick up a 99 GS400 and after spending a good part of the morning looking I can't seem to find any resource with a complete list of factory options in one place. So far the option list i can find seems to be:
-Navigation
-Mark Levinson/Nakamichi sound
-Heated Seats
-HID's
I'm more into the LS side of things, so this option list doesn't seem exhaustive. for instance, on my UCF10, there were about 15 options available between the factory and port not counting colors/interior trim.
I'm looking at this car today or else I would just email lexus to get my build sheet but it's a time sensitive deal. were your cars available with any of the following, or were these standard equipment, or not even offered? is there any options i missed?
-Sunroof
-Memory Seats
-Power/Manual tilt/telescoping steering wheel
-TRAC
-Air Suspention
-Rear Heated Seats

That's a good question. When I purchased my '99 GS400 from Hendrick Lexus in Charlotte, NC I was only given a few options (on the phone, anyway). I eventually flew down and drove the car back to NY. Now I've learned from seeing several 2GS vehicles without heated seats that those were indeed an option. Mine came with them. I guess all of the cars they had in stock had them? Anyway, here is what I chose:

1. Nakamichi stereo w/o nav - the other option was the Pioneer stereo w/nav (as far as I know you could NOT get the Nakamichi stereo w/nav)
2. 17" rims w/235ZR45 tires - the other option was 16" rims (I forgot the tire size) but I liked the look of the larger rims.
3. Rear spoiler - the other option was no spoiler. Again, I liked the look with the spoiler so I went with that.

So I picked up the 99 GS400 about 2 hours ago. Here are the options as far as i see so far
- 6Q7 Imperial Jade exterior
- LE02 Ivory Interior
- power memory seats
- Pioneer head unit with Navigation
- heated seats
- the newer version of TRAC, name, i don't know.
- power tilt and telescoping steering wheel
- 6 disc CD changer
- HID Headlights
- Sunroof
I will be emailing Lexus for a build sheet and update this thread when it becomes necessary. Still interested in any option you may know of, identifying which option are standard, etc.
