02 GS300 All season tire suggestions?
Looking to get some new rubber for my Sport Design 300. Is there any tire that is the consensus
top choice?
I'm looking for a tire that is quiet (top consideration) and good all year around. Even in light snowy conditions. This is my daily driver so good tire life is also a consideration.
Thanks for reading,
David

I'm looking for the stock size for my wheels, 215/60R16.
Are the Primacy's still made also? I remember looking for tires for my LS; the oft-recommended Primacy MXV4's were discontinued. Replaced if I remember correctly with a more costly but not as loved Premier A/S.

The Pilot Sport AS 3 hasn't been discontinued- they're still alive and well. They just don't make them in a 215/60R16. It's tough to find a performance tire with a 60 series sidewall- they're usually lower profile than that. You're right about the Primacy MXV4 being discontinued, though. They have been replaced by the Premier AS. You may still be able to find the MXV4 if someone has them left over, but we can't get any from Michelin anymore.

On my winter setup I'm running kumho pa31 245/50 on the stock 16's. Rides rougher than oe size but offers some added grip for better handling. I'm in nyc and they did great in the snow as well.

It's funny you mention the Pirelli Cinturato P7, thats what I chose for my LS and have been very happy with them. Seems like a good choice for the GS as well.
How long have you had them on your car? Have they worn well for you?

If you're looking on tire rack, I got the continental pure contacts from them last summer, very great handling for an all season tire, especially in rain, they actually were so good in the snow I didn't really need my snow tires, pretty quiet but I'd venture the Michelin or serenitys are quieter, but I like a little more sporty ride.
