2001 gs430 ballast gone bad
My 2001 lexus gs430 driver side HID bulb and ballast have gone bad. Replacing them
costs upwards of $1300 for parts plus labor. Can you please suggest if there are any
alternatives ? i am looking to see if i can purchase after market ballast for a cheaper
price or at an extreme, is it possible to replace the entire headlight with regular halogen
one ? Really didnt want to spend a lot of $$$ on a headlight bulb out issue.

That is actually absurd...1300? LOL
If you want to use a higher quality ballast and bulb I heard morimoto is fantastic.

I believe that our cars use a D2S ballast/bulb? I could totally be wrong (wouldn't be the first time.)
